Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 15, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of The Redding Group website, products, software, forms, and related services. By accessing or using a product or service provided by The Redding Group, you agree to these Terms.

1. About The Redding Group

The Redding Group is an independent think tank and innovation studio that develops and explores products, software, automation, research, and other projects.

Individual products may include additional terms, pricing, support conditions, or product-specific notices.

2. Eligibility and Authorized Use

You may use The Redding Group products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to use any information, accounts, customer data, business data, or other materials you enter into or connect with our products.

You may not use our products to violate applicable law, infringe the rights of others, send unlawful or deceptive communications, gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, or interfere with the operation of our products or third-party services.

3. Product Access and Licenses

Unless otherwise stated, purchasing or receiving access to a The Redding Group product provides you with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use that product for its intended purpose.

Ownership of the product, underlying code, branding, documentation, design, and other intellectual property remains with The Redding Group or the applicable rights holder.

You may not resell, redistribute, copy, publish, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit a product except where expressly permitted in writing.

4. GERI

GERI is a Google Sheets and Google Apps Script-based estimate follow-up system.

GERI may use Google services and permissions authorized by the user in order to perform functions such as sending follow-up emails, creating reminders, or operating related automation.

Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they enter into GERI and for ensuring that communications sent through GERI comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and industry requirements.

The Redding Group does not guarantee that every follow-up will result in a sale, response, payment, or other business outcome.

5. User Accounts and Third-Party Services

Some products may rely on third-party platforms, accounts, APIs, or services, including Google.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own accounts and credentials.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

The Redding Group is not responsible for outages, limitations, policy changes, account restrictions, or service interruptions caused by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Prices, subscription terms, support plans, refund periods, and other purchase conditions will be disclosed at or before purchase.

Where a product includes recurring billing, you are responsible for canceling recurring service in accordance with the applicable cancellation process.

Product-specific refund or billing terms may supplement these Terms.

7. Support and Updates

The Redding Group may provide support, troubleshooting, maintenance, or updates depending on the product and plan purchased.

We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, functionality, legal compliance, or continued development.

We do not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged indefinitely.

8. Intellectual Property

The Redding Group name, branding, logos, software, product names, documentation, original designs, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of The Redding Group intellectual property to the user.

Third-party trademarks, platforms, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Idea Submissions

The Redding Group welcomes voluntary submissions of ideas, concepts, problems, and potential projects.

Submitting an idea does not transfer ownership of that idea to The Redding Group and does not automatically create a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture, confidentiality agreement, or contractual obligation.

If both parties wish to pursue an idea together, any ownership, compensation, partnership, funding, acquisition, licensing, or development arrangement should be established separately in writing.

10. No Guaranteed Results

Products and services are intended to provide useful tools and functionality, but results will vary.

The Redding Group does not guarantee specific financial, business, operational, technical, or other outcomes from use of a product.

Users remain responsible for their own business decisions, communications, compliance obligations, and use of information produced or processed through our products.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, products and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

The Redding Group makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable and useful products but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, compatibility with every system, or freedom from all errors.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Redding Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use our products or services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination or Suspension

The Redding Group may suspend or terminate access to a product or service when reasonably necessary because of misuse, violation of these Terms, security concerns, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or discontinuation of a service.

Users may stop using our products at any time, subject to any applicable subscription, billing, or contractual obligations.

14. Privacy

Use of our products and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms

The Redding Group may update these Terms as our products, services, or legal obligations evolve.

Material changes will be reflected on this page along with an updated effective date.

Continued use of a service after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to The Redding Group’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
